iPad Check-in and Insurance fees for summer
With the end of the year approaching, we wanted to provide you with information regarding the use of the district-issued iPads and insurance fees. Students in 7th-11th grade who are planning to return to APEX or another SVVSD school in the Fall will KEEP THEIR IPADS OVER THE SUMMER. If you chose not to pay the insurance fee earlier in the year, we highly recommend spending $12.50 to purchase this to avoid costly repairs over the summer. If you already paid the fee you are covered through the summer. You can access the option to purchase this insurance by visiting the front office to purchase in person. Note that your child's iPad must be inspected for damage before insurance can be issued.
iPad check-in for students NOT returning to APEX in the Fall
7th-8th graders:
If you are in 7th or 8th grade please return your iPad in the case along with the charger on your APEX day the week of May 20-24. (Follow instructions below prior to check-in.)
iPad check-in for ALL SENIORS and 9th-11th graders NOT returning to APEX in the Fall
School-issued iPads need to be returned on one of the following dates and times. The process should not take more than 5-10 minutes.
May 13 - 9:00-3:00
May 14 - 12:00-3:00
May 15 - 9:00-11:30
May 16 - 9:00-11:30
Here’s the information you need to know prior to checking in your iPad:
- Your student should bring their iPad (in case) along with their charger to check-in. Damaged iPads or missing chargers may result in a charge.
- Students must log out of their Apple ID.
- It is always a good idea to have your data backed up. You can find information on backing up
- data here or contact us if you need assistance.
- Any iPads not returned during the check-in period listed above will be treated as missing and may result in a charge for the cost of the iPad.
