The APEX National Honor Society is excited to announce a school wide fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. The fundraiser will take place for a whole month, starting February 10th and Ending March 7th. Founded in 1906 the Boys and Girls Club is a nationwide non-profit who is committed to provide safe places for children to go after school, where they can learn, play, and have a strong community to hold them up. Similar to last year's Make-A-Wish fundraiser, this will be a school wide competition where groups can accumulate points with prizes going to the top three groups. However, this year students will be competing against other grades with K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and high school students being the teams. Each week will be a different genre of items to donate, with each item having a point value assigned to it. For more details on what to bring each week and the scoring system click HERE. This fundraiser is supposed to be a fun competition to help raise resources for a cause that helps thousands of kids each year.
