Bio:

I grew up in Wexford, Pennsylvania which is just outside Pittsburgh. I earned my degree in elementary education and sociology from Moravian College. After graduating, I taught second grade in California for five years before moving to Colorado. I have been enthusiastically teaching first grade at APEX since 2012. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher and would practice teaching lessons and assigning homework to my younger brother and sister. I am extremely passionate about creating an interactive and energized classroom focused on differentiated instruction, cooperation, and an element of fun. I also enjoy painting, pottery, playing games, trying new recipes, and exploring new places and activities with my husband and two children.
