Bio:
Carrie Mitchell has been teaching English in the St. Vrain Valley School District for 35 years. She previously worked at Erie High, Skyline High, Mead Middle and Longs Peak Junior High. Ms. Mitchell also coached girls’ and boys’ tennis and girls’ basketball for many years at Erie, Skyline and Longmont High School. Ms. Mitchell firmly believes that the key to teaching or coaching anything lies in building individual relationships with students and treating each with respect and compassion. Experienced at many levels of English instruction, Ms. Mitchell is really enjoying working with the amazing students and families at APEX and is excited to be teaching AP Literature and AP Language, Lit Comp 1 and Foundations of English this school year.
