Bio:

Usha Narayanswamy is originally from India. She came to the USA for graduate school and has lived in Boulder county for over 30 years. After getting her masters degree in computer science from University of Colorado, Boulder, she worked as a software engineer for several years before choosing to be a stay-at-home mom for her three children. Once her youngest was half way through elementary school, she decided to change her career to her true passion, that of an educator. She got her teacher license in elementary education and later added an endorsement in secondary mathematics. She has worked with students of different grade-levels (pre-school through college years), learning styles and abilities for over 30 years and has been teaching at APEX since 2012. Besides teaching, her primary job is to take care of her family. Usha loves to cook, work in her garden, draw and paint, and go on hikes and camping trips with her friends and family in her spare time.
